Description

A thermal fuse is a safety device designed to interrupt the flow of electrical current when the temperature exceeds a certain threshold. They provide an additional level of safety in appliances and equipment.
The length of the thermal fuse is 66 mm. The rated temperature is 240°C, which means that at this temperature the thermal fuse will interrupt the current supply.
Rated current 10A, this is the maximum current the thermal fuse can handle without tripping. The rated voltage is 250V, if the voltage exceeds this limit, the thermal fuse may ineffectively interrupt the circuit.
Thermal fuses are used as device protection, preventing overheating and potential fire hazards, such as for tumble dryers, toasters, coffee makers and microwave ovens, as well as in industrial equipment and automotive applications.
Thermal fuses are designed for one-time use. As soon as they trip due to excessive heat, they must be replaced.
