The button is designed to unlock the telescopic tube, allowing you to adjust its length to suit your height or the cleaning task at hand. Compatible for Vorwerk Kobold VK 130 VK 131 vacuum cleaners.    
To unlock the telescopic tube, press and hold the button while gently pulling the top of the tube upwards. Once you have adjusted the tube to the desired length, release the button to lock it in place.    
Replacing the button is easy, but make sure your hoover is unplugged before replacing the new part.  
 If the button is not working properly, make sure it is not clogged with dirt or debris. You can also try gently wiping the button with a soft, damp cloth to remove any dirt.
